Which way should I go?
The easy way is with the flow
But it's hell to pay
If you go the other way
My name is fearful
I could have been rich
And so famous and such
But I've decided to follow
This homeless Fellow
His name is Jesus
When you go the other way
You know what they're gonna say
Since they treated Him spitefully
Don't expect any better, you see!
By now I could have gone a mile
And I'd be wearing a big smile
But I'm all in just to go a foot
I had thought He'd help me out
And so no one seems to care
Seems I'm all alone out here
But He's kept His promise true
And He'll do the same for you
His name is Emmanuel
As long as I learn to lean
This road ain't half as mean
With every step narrowing
More of Him and less of me
